DIY Conservatory Design

When architects design extension or new homes the first thing they consider is how the internal layout of the room or building is going to work. For example a sitting/dining room needs to accommodate a lounge suite and dining room table and chairs. The table is 900mm wide and you need another meter on either side of the table to allow you to pull out the chair and sit down without having to squeeze in, hence the internal dimension will be 2900mm and when transferred to a conservatory the overall external brick dimension will be 3400mm, and that is a minimum. So when planning you conservatory size make sure you have considered what furniture you will be using and plan the size around that factor first.
